Welcome to Ora the Pit Bull. As a member of an often condemned breed and an aspiring Disc Dog I figured Ora would have a lot of adventures to share with the world but late fall of 2008 Ora became very ill and we almost lost her to an infection of unknown origin. It left her paralyzed 3 times over the winter and fighting for her life. The prognosis was not good and her return to disc doggin uncertain.

With the arrival of spring Ora has once again taken the field, her zest for life undaunted and desire to race after and snag discs out of the air as strong as ever even if her body is not fully ready to comply. With her future survival a little more certain I figured it was now time for me to share her life with you. Her life, while not as horrible as the life of many unwanted pets is none the less quite a mix of adversities and victories both large and small and its on this small corner of the web we hope to share her tails with you.
